We are terribly sorry your wine fridge is not working the way it should be
For Freestanding fridges we recommend leaving a gap of no less than 2 inches on each sides of the fridges to allow sufficient space for airflow around the unit.
You may use a damp cloth to wipe the insides and outsides of your wine fridge followed by using a dry cloth to dry the surfaces. Please minimise water contact with any electrical parts. Eg: control panel, compressor…
Condensation in Singapore climate can be anticipated on the glass due to changes in to cold weather and humidity in Singapore. Not to be alarmed, you can easily wipe off the water. Happens across all models and brands. Quick fix: To reduce the condensation, an option is to increase the temperature of the wine fridge alternatively
Different Type Of Wine Fridges and what they mean
Freestanding wine fridges are designed to stand alone while Built-In wine fridge are designed to be installed into counters or cabinets
A single zone wine fridge allows you to set one temperature throughout the unit. This is ideal for consumers who only drink one type of wine and consumers that prefer a smaller unit in general.
A dual zone wine fridge has 2 cooling zones as such it has 2 independent cooling zones allowing you to set 2 different temperatures in each zone, this is ideal for consumers who drink both red / white or other types of wine
Compressor Wine Fridges systems: They are similar to your traditional fridges and refrigerants.
Thermoelectric Wine Fridges systems: They consist of a ceramic tile with electric current flowing through it. When a current is passed through it, one side of the tile will heat up and the other side will be cooled down. A thermoelectric wine cooler contains mini fans to evenly distribute the cold air.
As thermoelectric coolers lack the compressor units they are usually quieter, produce lesser vibrations and use less energy to function meaning to say it will be cheaper to operate. As compressor wine fridges have compressor units they are able to produce colder temperatures.

A wine cooler offers a higher temperature range as compared to a refrigerator as the recommended temperature for wine is higher than other beverages like your juices or sodas as such this will oftentimes leave you with too cold wines which might not be ideal.
On average, a compressor wine fridge consumes around 100 watts (W) per day.
It costs an average of $16.5 per month. (Due to Singapore electricity Tariff of 22.93 Cents per kWh)
